Celebrating Newark Half Marathon 2023!

To all the participants of the Newark Half Marathon 2023 – those who ran with vigour, those who cheered with enthusiasm, the determined walkers who took each step with purpose, and the selfless volunteers who ensured everything ran smoothly – you were phenomenal! Whether you participated for personal achievement, in memory of a loved one, or to support a cause close to your heart, your determination and spirit were evident as you crossed the finish line. You truly smashed it!

The DB Wood Newark Half Marathon took place on Sunday, 13th August 2023, marking another successful year of this well-established and recognised annual event. The marathon, known for its flat, fast, and scenic route, offers both seasoned runners and beginners an opportunity to showcase their endurance and passion for running.

Congratulations to all 800 participants who ran in this year’s marathon. Your dedication and hard work were evident, and it was a joy to witness the community come together in such a spirited manner. The whole Middlebeck team are immensely proud to have sponsored this event once again. It was an honour to greet you at the finish line with goodie bags as a small token of our appreciation for your incredible effort.

The Newark Half Marathon is a celebration of community, determination, and the human spirit. Moreover, it serves as a means for local charities to raise funds for their causes.
