New chapter for Christ Church School

We’re close to submitting a planning application for Middlebeck’s new primary school, which will sit in the heart of phase one of the development.

The facility will become the new home of Christ Church Infant School, who will relocate when it opens in September 2021.

The new location will see Christ Church expand from an infant school to a full primary, and will offer a first-class education for children aged four to eleven.

The state-of-the-art, purpose-built facility will be located within the first phase of development, meaning the school run will never be more than a short stroll for our new residents of Middlebeck.

The move will be implemented gradually, with the current Year One and Year Two pupils staying at the existing Christ Church School and moving up through the school, before then moving across to the new Middlebeck site in September 2021 to be the first class of Year Four pupils. The school will then grow each academic year from Reception.

The exciting plans for the school were unveiled to current pupils and parents in a special assembly at the end of term, and families are incredibly excited to be moving over to their brand new facilities. The planning application is due to be submitted in Autumn.
